Amwo guides you with the help of Tibetan bowls through a deep relaxation journey of Yoga Nidra, the yoga of sleep.

  • Use headphones if possible otherwise a quality speaker is preferred.
  • Lie down in Savasana position with a blanket and maybe a thin pillow for the head.
  • You can do this meditation any time during the day. If you do this practice before sleeping make sure you do not activate your energy after the practice anymore.

What is Yoga Nidra

When we fall asleep we travel from the Gamma – perception and Beta – consciousness into Alpha – deep relaxation, Theta – dream states and finally Delta – restorative deep sleep. With Yoga Nidra we learn to become aware, without turning off the consciousness, and to be in control of these different brain waves. We mainly focus on the Hypnagogic state between wake and sleep, the Alpha and Theta – “lucid” state. Here we can access the subconsciousness and also work with deeper lied tensions. Yoga Nidra is different from Hypnosis as through practice, it mainly up to you. Just enjoy, observe and be here right now.

Tibetan Bowls

Amwo uses the Tibetan singing bowls to bring a deeper guidance of lifting and grounding energy throughout the practice. The bowls can vibrate through the body and influence the brain waves, this can alter and resolve emotion and feelings within your being.
